Just a quick one to update you on my treatment for the big C! Saw my consultant today and according to all the post op tests etc(and other things I don't understand) I am now officially clear of it as they got all the shit out...to say I'm relieved is an understatement! Oncology next week so hopefully will get the thumbs up from that too. Cheers once again for all the kind comments....and not one c**t!

Congrats.
Got signed off myself last month after surgery and 4 years of blood tests. On the flipside my Dad's in the final throes of prostate cancer.

My wife's cousin had his kidney removed two weeks ago. He'd had a cancerous lump that had been growing for 3 years, and when they took his kidney out the lump weighed 10 pounds.
The surgeon reckons he got all the shit out too. Onwards to the benchmark scan in September.

Great to hear that Medway,when I saw yours and bubbles Cyprus original posts it gives me heart coz I've been off work myself now for a month with kidney failure or the side effects but good to know you don't feel alone!
